The mission of the Associated Students, Inc. is to provide leadership opportunities for the students that will ensure responsible and effective participation in the shared governance of the campus. ASI advocates for student rights, render the official voice through which students’ opinions may be expressed, and provide educational, social, and cultural activities which enhance student life at California State University, Dominguez Hills. We operate under the three core values of leadership, advocacy, and student growth.

Club Fest

Club Fest

Club Fest is an Involvement Fair disguised as a Night Market. Taking place on February 20th from 5pm to 9pm in the Sculpture Garden, students will be able to enjoy food samples, live music, games and activities while having an opportunity to speak with the various clubs and organizations on campus. Clubs and orgs will be able to recruit and educate the student body about the services and benefits they provide to CSU Dominguez Hills.

This event started as an idea by the Organizations Commission to have a featured event focusing on the student clubs and orgs, with the objective to, “Showcase active clubs and organizations in an interactive environment, while encouraging students to participate by offering food samples, activities and prizes depending on their level of involvement.”

Register Your Club

We encourage all active clubs and organizations to participate in Club Fest. This is the only event that puts the focus on the clubs and organizations, while providing an opportunity to recruit, educate and be involved with the campus community. Register your club by February 7th in order to reserve a space for Club Fest. Below are some key points for anyone considering registering their club or organization;

  • Setup is tentatively set between 4pm or 4:30pm, we will email all those participating one week prior to the event with a final time
  • Each organization will get one canopy with string lights, one table and two chairs
    • Additional chairs will be available day of event, while supplies last
  • Clubs and Organizations may sell food, provided they submit their own DH Catering Exemption form and provide a confirmation to ASI
